The plot and geometry of the maps remain intact. This mod only changes textures, models, sounds and interface. And yes, an Alpha version of the diabolical adrenaline guitar has been added. Its quality has become lower, and the music itself has been edited and remixed by me, but this is not immediately possible to notice. The soundtrack has been slightly modified. It's sad that such cool projects are canceled, so I got the idea to start working on my own and bring it to the end. Most of them are either dead (Shaft), unfinished (Absolute Zero) or not even made public (enough in moddb). Another reason was the lack of full-fledged mods for the Alpha Version. This is one of the reasons why I decided to recreate something resembling Alpha. But you must admit, there is something in this.
It's sorta like comparing the Half-Life we know to an exciting big-budget sci-fi blockbuster movie whereas the alpha/beta is a low-budget campy 80s action movie with exaggerated violence, dark humor and overacting (just remember the faces of the characters). In my opinion, it is no worse and no better than what came out in the end. This mod is an attempt to recreate the Alpha Version style of the legendary Half Life 1.To be honest, I like the old style of this game.
